Super Bowl Party 101: What NOT to Wear (for Ladies)

If you're anything like me, you are trying to figure out what to wear to that Super Bowl party without looking desperate for attention. You tell yourself "I don't want to be too jazzy, but I don't want to be too comfortable. To most women  a big party means a fabulous dress and killer heel. Welp...sorry….this aint' that kind of party beauty!

Terrell Owens says "I'm In Hell"

Terrell Owens has always been an island of sorts. His brash personality and self-absorption routinely alienated his teammates during an NFL career that teetered between terrific and toxic, leaving him to fend for himself.

Now, at 38 and out of football, he's lonelier than ever, and running out of money. In a GQ profile, Owens comes across as wounded, broke and desperate. When people text him to ask where he is, he replies back: "I'm in hell."

But is it his own fault? That's the perennial debate on T.O., who had a heartbreaking childhood but continually pointed fingers at everyone but himself once he became an adult.

In the GQ story by Nancy Hass, Owens blames the media for not giving him a chance to rehab his injury, blames agent Drew Rosenhaus for not protecting him from a bad business arrangement, and -- perhaps most surprisingly -- blames a former team captain for his issues with former Philadelphia teammate Donovan McNabb.

NFL Conference Championship Picks

We have two of the best offenses and quarterbacks in the league (Tom Brady/Eli Manning) and two teams with high powered defenses(Ravens/49ers). Oh yeah, don't forget there are two brothers who are each one win away from creating the "Sibling Bowl" in Indianapolis. There are storylines in both of those situations...any other combination (i.e Patriots v 49ers) would lack the ultimate storyline. I'll be 2-0 or 0-2 this week...I refuse to take a split.

New York Giants (9-7, 5-3 away) @ San Francisco 49ers (13-3, 7-1 home)
Sunday, 6:30 PM ET

It's Eli Manning and Alex Smith in San Francisco -- a rematch of the Nov. 11 game won by the 49ers, 27-20. But this is now and the Giants are the most balanced team playing right now (at this moment). They are playing well on both sides of the ball. NY finally has Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora, Mathias Kiwanuka, and JasonPierre-Paul all healthy and on the field together. Those four guys have 37 sacks between them this year.

The Kardashian’s BIG Party in Big D

Khloe and Lamar Kardashian are getting a BIG welcome party in Big D on January 26 -- thanks to Lamar's new teammate Shawn Marion. Marion is hosting  a blowout welcome dinner at his mansion.

Sources say, the entire Mavericks team will be present ... along with some other select VIPs

NFL Division Playoff Picks

New Orleans Saints (14-3) @ San Francisco 49ers (13-3,first round bye) Saturday, FOX 4:30 PM ET
Drew Brees is on fire as he heads to San Francisco to take on a 49ers team that is ranked 4th overall in defense. That will prove to be a stiffer challenge for the Saints than Detroit was. What San Francisco does best is stop the run (ranked #1). Well, the Saints may not even have a rushing attempt on Saturday. Brees will keep spreading it all over the field until SF lays back some and opens up the lane for Darren Sproles. I think the biggest game comes from Jimmy Graham. As good as SF is against the run, they aren’t as good against the pass (and we all know how good Brees is WITH the pass).

Dear Mr. Kardashian,

Please take your circus and exit stage left. Thanks, The BOS
Ok….. the Cowboys season ended in D minus fashion and now the Dallas Mavericks are off to a hideous 3-5 start and I am in need of a scapegoat. Bringing Tyson Chandler back isn’t an option…so I am going to pin this on you, Mr. Lamar Kardashian. An insider has told me that the locker room, practice, and all other operations at the American Airlines Center where the World Champion Dallas Mavericks play has been a circus since the Kardashian’s and their reality show centered lives arrived in Big D. You claim “The key is to make everybody comfortable” . Well how about you keep your film crew out of the locker room. Dirk is not an attention craved individual like most professional basketball players so I can’t see this going over to well with him. This is HIS team and he will soon speak out and call it all a distraction……mark my word. I know, I know.....you buy the Cow you get the milk (is that how it goes??) and when we acquired you from the Lakers we were aware that you would continue filming your reality TV show with your wife, the adorable, “why are you a celebrity”, Khloe Kardashian.

Beauties Cuties: Serge Ibaka

Serge Ibaka (Full name: Sergeballu LaMu Sayonga Loom Walahas Jonas Hugo Ibaka) is a 22 year old NBA cutie for the Oklahoma Thunder born in the Republic of Congo (that intro has mandingo warrior written all over it!). That OKC uniform does him no justice so watching him play on the court doesn't really catch the eye...but catch him in his street clothes and he's a head turner.
