Beauties Picks: NFL Playoffs, Divisional Round

Baltimore at Denver, Sat., 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS

I’m sure you watched the games last week. Guess how many yards of offense Indy was able to put up against the Ravens….419. So you have to ask yourself…if Luck did that..what damage will his predecessor’s team do? The Broncos are a top-five offense and top-five defense playing at home. Flacco didn’t impress me last week so the Ravens hopes lay on the shoulders of their defense (as always)…limit Peyton's possessions = best chance to win for Baltimore.

Pick: Denver
Confidence: 4

Green Bay at San Francisco, Sat., 8 p.m. ET, FOX

San Francisco go tthe best of Green Bay in Week 1 with a 30-22  victory. That was  5 years ago in football years. That Kalpernicklededruityi kid gets his first playoff start. Clay Mathews will welcome him with a sack or two.

Pick :Green Bay
Confidence: 3

BATTLE OF THE BIRDS Seattle at Atlanta, Sun., 1 p.m. ET, FOX

I picked Seattle to win last week at Washington because I like the way their team is clicking on all cylinders. They lost defensive end Chris Clemons to injury last week so that may put a limp in their step but Seattle is hot. We’ve read this book about the Falcons before…great regular season…falter in the postseason. Remember the past two years? The Packers and Giants were hot going into the playoffs and eliminated the Falcons. Is the third time the charm? I say this comes down to how well each team runs the ball. Turner the Burner v Beastmode. P.S. I love Roddy White #bias Seattle is favored on the road by nearly 80% of experts. I’m no expert…..

Pick: Atlanta
Confidence: 2

Houston at New England, Sun., 4:30 p.m.ET,CBS

It has been difficult to get a read on the Texans down the stretch. They have not been dominate over the past month the way New England has and I don’t see the same team I did at the beginning of the season. Not to mention Belichick had an extra week to prepare for this team. Although Arian Foster’s move to make his twitter avi a quote about the Patriots getting an extra “bye week” by playing the Texans will motivate him…I don’t think it will trickle down to the rest of the team and end in a “W”.  The Texans can get it done with big plays to AJ and big runs from AF…but it won’t be enough against Bradichick and gang.

Pick: New England
Confidence: 3
