Trade Watch: Chicago Bulls Eye Gasol!

The trade deadline is tomorrow at noon, and the Chicago Bulls are having discussions with the Lakers about Gasol.

The Bulls offered PF Carlos Boozer and G C.J. Watson, according to the Chicago Tribune, but Boozer’s  contract (three more years, $47 million) would not be attractive to any team, yet along the Lakers.

According to sources, the Lakers countered asking for at least two first-round picks, center Joakim Noah and another player believed to be Watson.

There's always room for improvement on any team, but I can't see the Bulls giving up Joakim Noah. It wouldn't be logical for them to make any major moves.  Afterall, they do have the  best record in the NBA.

While it appears now that the deal itself is a longshot, anything is still possible (insert Lebron taking his talents to South Beach).
